1943 Frankoma Catalog
Catalog copies before 1950 are very rare so I am fortunate to have an original for this year. The scans here are from that original. This issue is very much like the 1942 issue, and a line by line comparison shows little difference. One can quickly identify each, however, by the page numbers: the 1942 has no numbers and the 1943 has numbers. Some of the best data, however, come from the price list that came with this catalog. It is dated 1 January, 1943 and details the introduction of the Myan Aztec dinerware line. Also, this price list makes the first written reference to peacock blue glaze known to me. Frankoma did not produce another catalog until 1948 so this one saw a lot of use.
